UPDATE:
A recent poll, taken in the Times
of India, states that almost fifty percent of Indian
citizens believe the tsunami was caused by the
“wrath of God.” The particular state in India that
was the worst hit, Tamil Nadu, is the state that has
the harshest laws against evangelical work in all
India . In the midst of this tragedy, former
students and other friends that minister in Sumatra
, the Indonesian island that was the worst affected
of all the tsunami-stricken areas, have told us how
God has opened the door for them to witness. We
thank the Lord that every one of the seven hundred
students at the college was spared from the tsunami.
We have not heard of even a single family member who
lost their life. Many of the college graduates live
in those areas and all have reported how God has
spared them.
PRAY:
Please pray for our house
situation. Within the next few days, the owners of
the house will decide if they will allow us to stay.
They have been unable to sell the home or find a
potential buyer, and are considering an extension to
the rental contract. |
